The following terms & conditions apply to ALL provided services of The Musical Corner, Montessori Music & Arts:
*Monthly tuition does not include the cost of all learning materials. Students are responsible for purchasing or renting all method books, sheet music, accessories, and instruments required for their classes/lessons.*
REGISTRATION
Registration obligates a student to make payment for a whole month of classes/lessons & registration fee before the start date. Late entries are prorated. Semesters are based on calendar quarters:
Winter/Spring Semester: January – May
Summer Semester: June – August
Fall/Winter Semester: September – December
Enrolled students are automatically re-registered and billed for the next semester on the 23rd of the month. A $50 cancellation fee will apply to each student who discontinues lessons before the end of the semester.
TUITION COST
~ Pricing will be provided after the contact/enrollment form or a phone call correspondence has been received by TMC.
BILLING
~ Monthly tuition invoices & receipts will be provided via My Music Staff.
~ Students/Parents/Guardians/Directors will gain access to their 'Student/Parent Portal' via My Music Staff after confirmation of registration.
~ The amount due at registration will include the $25 registration fee for each family and tuition for classes during the current month only (unless enrolled on or after the 23rd of the month, in which the upcoming month’s tuition will also be due at registration).
~ Tuition payment must be received within 48 hours of accessing the 'Student Portal' to confirm the enrolled weekly class time slot.
~ A tuition invoice will be sent on the 23rd of each month. Tuition will be deducted from the debit card on file on the 30th of each month.
~ A $35 fee will apply to returned checks & declined credit card payments.
~ Notification to terminate enrollment must be provided to The Musical Corner via email (themusicalcorner.com) before the 23rd of the month if you do not wish to continue classes into the next month/semester. The parent/student must pay tuition plus a $50 cancellation if notification is not provided. No cancellations or refunds are accepted for next month’s classes after the 23rd.
WAYS TO PAY
~ Auto-Pay: Students/Parents can enroll in auto-pay via your 'Student Portal'.
~ Check & Money Order: Make all check & money order payments payable to 'The Musical Corner, LLC'. Allow 3-7 business days for each check payment to reflect on your banking account.
ABSENCES & MAKE-UPS
~ Parents/Guardians/Students must notify The Musical Corner at least 24 hours before your scheduled class/lesson time to reschedule their lesson or receive a make-up credit. No-shows will forfeit the opportunity to reschedule or receive a make-up class/lesson.
~ Make-up classes/lessons are only available for enrolled students. Any unused make-up credit(s) will be null/void & no refund will be issued after a student discontinues enrollment.
~ Make-up credits must be used during the semester/term that the credit is issued. Credits are not transferable to other students/siblings.
~ Make-up credits cannot be substituted as a form of tuition payment.
~ Cancellations due to inclement weather, student illness, emergency, or teacher unavailability will be rescheduled during the semester at a time agreed upon by the teacher and student.
~ If a student misses a significant amount of practice time between class/rehearsal/lessons due to illness, the notification must be provided to The Musical Corner at least 24 hours before your scheduled class time/day, as we will work with your teacher to fully accommodate the student through their recovery process.
~ Classes/Lessons falling on national holidays (when The Musical Corner is closed) will be rescheduled for a time before or after the observation of that holiday.
OTHER NOTES
~ In case of teacher illness/cancellation, students will receive an email with various online resources for viewing exploration & expression.
~ A weekly class/lesson recap will be emailed to parents/students after each session.
~ Students are encouraged to explore (practice) their instrument daily. Expect to remind and redirect your child(ren) during their exploration time. Adult supervision of exploration may be required until a consistent routine is set.
~ Quality exploring time is without distractions. This time should take place in a quiet, well-lit, and comfortable area that is also free from interruptions & distractions (i.e., no phone calls/texting, no TV, no computer, etc.).
~ All students give The Musical Corner to include their picture/likeness in any form of TMC advertising and media.
~ To guarantee efficient communication, all communication between students, families, and instructors must go through The Musical Corner office. The Musical Corner parents/students are prohibited from soliciting instructors for services offered by The Musical Corner without the express written consent of The Musical Corner.
~ New students receive one (1) 30-minute FREE trial lesson per family on one (1) instrument.
~ Purchase of a trial package is required for students who prefer to try multiple teachers/instruments.
~ Trial packages purchased at a promotional price must be used within 31 days of purchase.
~ All parents/students permit The Musical Corner to include their picture/audio in any form of TMC advertising or media.
~ To guarantee efficient communication, all communication between students, parents/guardians, and teachers must go through The Musical Corner office. Parents/students are prohibited from soliciting teachers for services offered by The Musical Corner without the express written consent of The Musical Corner.

~ Terms last for a total of four(4) months
~ Students have the option of weekly or bi-weekly sessions
~Weekly students will receive four(4) sessions per month
~Bi-weekly students will receive two(2) sessions per month
~ Parents/Guardians of enrolled students will receive a list of required equipment/material after enrollment confirmation. Students/Parents are responsible for the purchase and upkeep of all personal equipment for this course.
TUITION COST
~ Rate based on length/frequency of the private session. Contact Mr. Dustin to confirm pricing.
STUDIO SESSION
~ Students and Guides will meet a minimum of once per term at a local professional recording studio to further their knowledge. Parents/Guardians are responsible for paying all fees for each studio session before the scheduled session time/day; fees range from $80-$150.
~ Parents/Guardians are required to accompany their child(ren) to their studio session.
LISTENING PARTY
~ Hosted in May & July. Notification of the date/time will be provided to all parents/guardians in advance. All listening parties are open to all supportive parties of TMC students/events.
OTHER TERMS
~ All parents/students permit The Musical Corner to include their picture/audio in any form of TMC advertising or media.
~ To guarantee efficient communication, all communication between students, parents/guardians, and teachers must go through The Musical Corner office. Parents/students are prohibited from soliciting teachers for services offered by The Musical Corner without the express written consent of The Musical Corner.
~ Enrollment terms last for a total of four(4) months
PRESCHOOL ENRICHMENTS
~ Preschool Directors/Parents will be notified of the TMC enrichment sign-up date before the start of each term. A parent/guardian is required to enroll their child in their desired program by the sign-up deadline. Late addition will not be permitted.
~ Tuition must be paid in full before the start date of class for each term.
~ Schools/Parents are responsible for the purchase and upkeep of all personal instruments and learning material.
~ Piano: Classes meet weekly for 45 minutes with 3 children per class.
~ Strings: Classes meet weekly for 30 minutes with 3 students per class.
~ Ukulele: Classes meet weekly for 30 minutes with 3 students per class. Only open to students 4 & older.
BAND & ORCHESTRA
~ Directors of enrolled students will receive a list of required equipment/material after enrollment confirmation. Students/Parents/Directors are responsible for the purchase and upkeep of all personal equipment for this program.
~ Private lesson students will receive a written lesson recap sheet at the end of each lesson. A weekly master class/chamber ensemble recap will be emailed to Directors at the end of each lesson/class. Directors are obligated to forward weekly recaps to the parents/guardians of enrolled students to use as a guide/reference for at-home practice time.
GFMC ELIGIBILITY
~Students must be enrolled for the current full school year to be eligible to participate in GFMC festivals and events. Preschool-aged children must be enrolled in weekly private lessons to become eligible for GFMC participation.
OTHER TERMS
~ All parents/students /directors permit The Musical Corner to include their picture/audio in any form of TMC advertising or media.
~ To guarantee efficient communication, all communication between students, parents/guardians, and teachers must go through The Musical Corner office. Parents/Guardians/Students/Directors/School Administration are prohibited from soliciting teachers for services offered by The Musical Corner without the express written consent of The Musical Corner.

As an official Patron of the Arts, your monthly donation of $20 will secure:
~ Your name/family name on the official Patron of the Arts page
~ One (1) complimentary ticket to a public TMC event. per year Each ticket must be requested to be placed on hold at least seven (7) days before the chosen event.
~ Recognition at TMC public performances
Payment will be automatically deducted from the provided payment method on the first (1st) of each month. TMC reserves the right to forfeit all of the above-stated if payment is not received by the seventh (7th) of the current month.
