Meet TMC Owner/Founder

From the moment that I could hold a book, I fell in love with learning.  I would run home every day to share all that I had learned with my entire family!  My favorite ways to learn were through music and gardening with my Grandmother.  My musical journey began with enjoying music with my family and singing in my church youth choir.  As I was growing through my journey, I was also connecting and learning more with my youngest brother who had been diagnosed with Autism.

 Vastly excelling academically, performing and learning through the arts became my haven.  Learning the bassoon and other instruments alongside my peers was an amazing experience.  During my adolescent years, I was a bassoonist for the high school and college concert bands, Region Band, and various college performance festivals.  Exploring my knowledge led me to the wonderful world of drums & percussion.  I was a member of the high school marching band, indoor marching drum line, and percussion ensemble.  I also had the honor of touring Europe with the Spirit of America National Honor Band (drums) and earned placement into the South Carolina Collegiate Band (bassoon).  Furthering my experiences and knowledge, I went on to obtain a B.S. (emphasis in Music Performance; Bassoon) from Middle Tennessee State University.   I am a proud member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity, Inc.  

My joys of growing in the Montessori philosophy and connecting more with the youth fully blossomed during my collegiate years.  Being a mentor for Big Brother Big Sister of Rutherford County was truly a blessing.  Since moving to Georgia in 2014, I have also become a Certified Life Coach.  After many years of being a Montessori music educator at schools and homes throughout Metro Atlanta, TMC was officially formed.  The haven that I have dreamed of for so long has  become a reality!

My love for the performance arts is ever-flowing.  I am also currently Principal Bassoonist for the Toccoa Symphony Orchestra.  Sharing my love of the arts, enhancing the talents of artists, and connecting families is a dream come true.
