What is Montessori Education?
Developed in 1906 by Dr. Maria Montessori (an Italian physician & educator), the Montessori method focuses on respect and independence for each child's growth.
Montessori education is student-led and self-paced. Students are guided, assessed, and enriched by knowledgeable and caring teachers, the leadership of their peers, and a nurturing environment. Connecting communities of life-long learners, the Montessori Method fosters rigorous, self-motivated growth for children and adolescents in all areas of their development—cognitive, emotional, social, and physical.

TMC Montessori & The Arts
Embracing the five areas of the Montessori philosophy, our unique curriculum focuses on individual development through literacy, singing, playing instruments, music & movement, and creative expression.
Our student-driven curriculum is custom-tailored to provide students the confidence to learn in their way. all of the traditional method training & knowledge of their genre(s) of choice, as well as music theory, music history, audition/performance etiquette, and playing in ensembles with their peers.
Our teachers guide, support, & encourage students as they explore and grow in their skills and knowledge. Through unique wholistic learning experiences, our students are exposed to various genres, artists/composers, performance experiences, building their portfolio/repertoire, and creating their masterpieces.
We also provide in-home support to families and (home)schools!!
We believe that every person deserves a safe space to learn, grow, and be expressive through the Montessori philosophy.
